The Kitchen Team Member will work closely with the Manager of Meal Services and other Kitchen Team Members to create high quality meals for over 700 guests daily. They will also help sort food donations and other do their part to keep the kitchen a clean, safe working environment.

Homeless Services Case Manager (The Stewpot)
The case manager provides assistance to clients in gathering the necessary documents to obtain Texas IDs, birth certificates and social security cards. The case manager works closely with the Homeless Services team and the Manager of Homeless Services to provide services that meet the individual client’s needs as well as working with the Housing Forward continuum. The case manager also helps clients connect with other services that will help them obtain housing or employment.

Facility Manager (The Stewpot)
The Facility Manager supervises maintenance personnel regarding installation, repair, and maintenance throughout The Stewpot and performs needed facilities / maintenance tasks. Responsible for supervising the operating team (custodial staff and maintenance staff) and DPD personnel for The Stewpot when on Stewpot campus. Collaborates with The Stewpot Directors as needed, particularly with day-to-day collaboration with the Senior Director of Programs, Director of Housing and Homeless Services, and Manager of Homeless Services. Collaborates with Facilities team at FPC Dallas to cross train with Sr. Maintenance Engineer for both facilities. Shares on-call duty with Sr. Maintenance Engineer of FPC Dallas.

Food Recovery Specialist (The Stewpot)
The Food Recovery Specialist will work closely with the Manager of Food Recovery, Meal Services team, Volunteer Services team, The Bridge staff and volunteers to ensure food is picked up and delivered safely and efficiently to The Stewpot and The Second Chance Café at The Bridge. This position reports directly to the Manager of Food Recovery at The Stewpot.

Food Distribution Team Member (The Stewpot)
Part-time team members provide support and care to our DFW neighbors experiencing food insecurity through the Individual and Family Stabilization Program Food Distribution at The Stewpot of The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. Approximately 250 families per month receive a week’s worth of groceries including non-perishable items, produce, and refrigerated/frozen items. The Food Distribution Team Members work closely together as a team to sort and bag non-perishable items, produce and refrigerated/frozen items for date and quality, and also load these groceries into the clients’ vehicles through The Stewpot drive-thru. Housing Case Manager (The Stewpot)
The Stewpot’s Dallas Real Time Rapid Rehousing (DRTRR) program is a partnership that works closely with Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance and other community agencies collaborating to end homelessness through the Dallas Real Time Rapid Rehousing Initiative (DRTRR) that aims to rehouse over 2,700 individuals experiencing homelessness by October 2023.
The DRTRR Case Manager will provide supportive housing case management to individuals and families who are either literally homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This position is responsible for helping participants locate and gain housing, assisting them in maintaining housing, and providing ongoing support as needed.
