First Presbyterian Church of Dallas seeks a musical artist to curate and lead music-making in Wood Street Worship, a new, band-led worship expression of FPC Dallas. The ideal musician will make tasteful and artistic musical choices, will draw connections between theological emphases and music-making, will naturally balance depth with whimsy, will have a bias towards grey areas, and will bring together people from diverse musical and cultural backgrounds. Part-time team members provide support and care to our DFW neighbors experiencing food insecurity through the Individual and Family Stabilization Program Food Distribution at The Stewpot of The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. Approximately 250 families per month receive a week’s worth of groceries including non-perishable items, produce and refrigerated/frozen items. The Food Distribution Team Members work closely together as a team to sort and bag non-perishable items, produce and refrigerated/frozen items for date and quality and also load these groceries into the clients’ vehicles through The Stewpot drive-thru.
