Staff Accountant (FPC Dallas)

The Staff Accountant manages general accounting and financial processes for all FPC related entities.  This individual will be responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to preparing tax documents, updating expense files, performing financial transactions and posting them to the general ledger.  The staff accountant will also carry out relevant administrative (e.g. responding to clients via email, handling invoices, documenting relevant procedures). View the full job description. FPC Communications Director (FPC + Day School)

The Communications Director – FPC and Day School will deliver the amazing stories of FPC Dallas, its Foundation, and the FPC Day School to the wider community, and communicate opportunities for the FPC congregation and community members to support and share in the efforts of these entities. The Day School Quality and Compliance Manager provides guidance, training, and compliance monitoring. The Quality and Compliance Manager works to oversee systems for continuous quality improvement, Texas Rising Star, and Texas State Licensing requirements. The Director of Philanthropy & Engagement of The Stewpot works closely with the Finance Office, Stewpot Executive Director, Stewpot Program Directors, First Presbyterian Church’s Senior Director of Development and Communications, and contractors. Wood Street Worship Music Director

First Presbyterian Church of Dallas seeks a music director to curate and lead music-making in Wood Street Worship (WSW), a new worshipping community of FPC Dallas. Food Distribution Team Member (The Stewpot)

Part-time team members provide support and care to our DFW neighbors experiencing food insecurity through the Individual and Family Stabilization Program Food Distribution at The Stewpot of The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas. Approximately 250 families per month receive a week’s worth of groceries including non-perishable items, produce and refrigerated/frozen items. The Food Distribution Team Members work closely together as a team to sort and bag non-perishable items, produce and refrigerated/frozen items for date and quality and also load these groceries into the clients’ vehicles through The Stewpot drive-thru. Case Manager for Housing (The Stewpot)

The Stewpot’s Dallas Real Time Rapid Rehousing (DRTRR) program is a partnership that will work closely with Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance and other community agencies collaborating to end homelessness through the Dallas Real Time Rapid Rehousing Initiative (DRTRR) that aims to rehouse over 2,700 individuals experiencing homelessness by October 2023.

The DRTRR Case Manager will provide supportive housing case management to individuals and families who are either literally homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This position is responsible for helping participants locate and gain housing, assist them in maintaining housing, and provide ongoing support as needed. Client Services Case Manager (The Stewpot)

The case manager’s primary duty is to provide assistance to clients in gathering the necessary documents to obtain Stewpot ID’s, Texas IDs, birth certificates and social security cards and accessing the document bank. They also work with clients enrolled in the Representative Payee program. The case manager works closely with the Client Services team and the Director of Client Services to provide services that meet the individual client’s needs including Case Management.
