We meet for worship on Sundays in our Sanctuary (11 am) and our Chapel (8:30 am), in the heart of downtown Dallas just walking distance from the Dallas Farmers Market and Central Business District. Our services are about an hour long featuring about 20 minutes of rich scripture teachings, excellent music in a variety of styles, and opportunities to connect with others from every background and neighborhood in our city. If you can’t attend in-person, we look forward to hosting you online.
Our 11 am Sanctuary service invites your to worship our God alongside our neighbors and FPC Chancel Choir, be moved and challenged by rich, biblical teachings, and practice your faith through foundational liturgy.
Can’t make it to in-person service? No problem. Every Sunday, our 11 am worship service is streamed live online.
Our 8:30 am Sunday Chapel service provides a slightly altered version of what happens in our Sanctuary later that morning. With only one or two voices leading worship and the same dynamic message being preached, this intimate space allows you to sit in the peace and stillness of the early morning with our God.

A mother's one-liner abruptly expands the scope of Jesus' ministry. Jesus sighs before sticking his fingers in a deaf man's ears. A disciple is rebuked for sounding like the devil. Visions of one-footed followers hopping behind Jesus are blessed. A child crawls into the lap of God while the grownups stay criss-cross apple sauce on the ground.
In the middle chapters of Mark's gospel, Jesus makes a decisive turn toward Jerusalem and his cross. On the way home, the secret he tried hard to hold close seeps out in a series of unexpected encounters. The result is a depiction of divine eccentricity. The Son of God doesn't fit in, at all.
For the next four weeks in worship, we'll be paying close attention to Jesus' unconventional expressions of love in four passages from Mark's gospel. Enlightened by the eccentricity of Jesus, we'll be free to ask questions like "What now?" and "Do we, too, have to act so consistently strange to follow Jesus?
Join us for the series if you seek liberation from the ho-hum to dwell with the Holy One.
Kids of all ages are always welcome in all of our worship services. Outside of our Sanctuary you will find kits for children that will help keep them engaged and happy during worship.
Childcare, Children's Sunday School, Youth Sunday School, and Youth Group are available on Sundays. All offer age appropriate care, teaching, activities, social time, and fun for your family.
A nursing room for mothers with young children is also available. You can find it in our Welcome Center, near the Women's Restroom.
We’re located in the heart of Downtown Dallas at 1835 Young Street, walking distance from both the Farmer’s Market and the Central Business District. Parking is available in our Parking Garage, located on Young Street. On Sundays you can enter the building through our Parking Garage, the Welcome Center on Young Street, or from the historical entrance of our campus on Harwood.
If it’s your first time visiting with us, be on the lookout for a friendly greeter with a name tag. We’ll be sure to help you or your family find where you need to go on our campus.
Additionally, be sure to say "hello" to us online! Let us know a little bit about yourself, and one of our pastors will reach out to help you explore your next steps with our church, answer any questions you have, or just chat over coffee.
The FPC Dallas community does not exist just on Sundays. Once you’ve experienced worship with us, we’d like to invite you to explore next steps in helping you grow in your faith. There are plenty of opportunities including small groups, classes, service opportunities, membership, and more.
