I believe: Jesus is the Son of God who died and was raised for us. God is always with you and loving you. The church should be open and welcoming to all. The Holy Spirit is in communion. Through baptism, we can grow closer to God. Through corporate confession, we share our weaknesses and strengths knowing that we are forgiven by our Lord, God.

I consider the Bible God's inspired, unique, inerrant, and authoritative Word. I hold that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three eternally existing persons who make up the one God. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, I declare. I firmly believe that Jesus is the living Word of God. He died on the cross voluntarily, in my belief, to atone for my sin. I am sure that He overcame death, ascension into Heaven, and present presence at the right hand of the Father. This is the conclusion of my statement of faith.

My Faith Journey: I am a child of God
Church | Colossians 3:15 - Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
CS..When I walked into this church I felt accepted, loved and supported. It takes a village.
Jesus | John 3:16 - For God so loved the world so much that he gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
CS..Be open and have faith in Jesus so we can turn over our troubles and joys in prayer.
God | Isaiah 4:13 - For I am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.
CS..I can pray to God when I am having a tough day and when I am grateful for what I have.
Grace | John 1:16-17 - From his fullness we have all received grace, upon grace; as the law was given through moses, so grace and truth came into being through Jesus Christ.
CS..Grace is God's love and forgiveness despite our mistakes.
Holy Spirit | Romans 8:26 - The spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we out to pray for...
CS..The Holy Spirit helps guide me in prayer.
Amen!

God is someone I love who is always with me and who has a plan. Even though things don’t always go the way I want, and I don’t know why things happen the way they do, God is always thinking about me and knows what I’m going to do. God sent Jesus to clearly guide the way I should live. Jesus came into the world to make changes in the way people behave towards each other. Even though I wasn’t there when Jesus did his miracles, I believe they happened because he was the Son of God.
The Holy Spirit protects me and guides me on a deeper mental and spiritual level. Even if I’m not aware of its presence, the Holy Spirit is always with me and shows its presence when I am most desperate. Sin is very powerful and affects everyone. I often do not realize how much my sinful behavior affects other people. I ask God for forgiveness for the insincere promises I make about the things I’m going to keep doing.
The Church exists so that we can learn about our faith and God in a strong community. This community should also be a welcoming place that offers love and support to all types of people. The Church uses its resources of people and money to help other people all around the world and to give them a sense of community as well.
To be a Christian I need to have a strong faith and to practice that faith. I should act loyal to others and not get greedy and love God with all of my heart.

I Believe that though I may not always recognize it, God is always with me.
I believe that he will never give me more than I can handle, but he will always give me more than I deserve. I believe that he is the maker of Heaven and Earth, and therefore the maker of me, and that he loves me, just as God loves all of his children.
I believe that Jesus is the son of God, and I believe that I must strive every day to do as he did, and love as he did. I believe that when I fail to do as he did, I will be forgiven, because that is how Jesus loves: with forgiveness.
I believe that the Holy Spirit resides in me, and in everything I do. I believe that the Holy Spirit is bigger than I can even begin to grasp, but I take comfort in that, because the Holy Spirit comforts me. I believe that my senses of overwhelming love, happiness, joy, and pain, are the Holy Spirit at work, and I have faith that the Holy Spirit guides me through each of these.
I have faith that the church will always be there for me, and stay with me even if I move on from Dallas. I have faith that when or if I come back, the church will welcome me back with open arms.
In the end, I believe that the Holy Trinity is something that I cannot see, or hear, or touch. At the same time though, I see it in everything I do, I echo it in every sound I make, and I feel it acutely with every fiber of my being, just as I will as long as I shall live.

I believe in God, the deity of many names, God the Father, the Creator, God has created life as we know it. God has shaped us, our parents, their parents and all the generations before them, God will continue to make the generations to come. God created the path with room for us to grow, and that is what we did.
I believe in Jesus the savior, He devoted his life for us, died at the cross for us, He purified the impure. He nurtured us, loved us, taught us. We committed sins, He forgave us, we disobeyed, He forgave us. He was sent down from the heavens in the form of a miracle-working human, born from the virgin Mary.
I believe in The holy spirit, the spirit of god left behind. The Spirit guides us, makes sure we go on the right path. The Spirit lets us live our lives in the presence of God. The Spirit reminds us of God, makes sure we believe and trust in him. All people feel The Holy Spirit at different times, for some in nature, in song, with friends, with family, The Spirit is never absent, always with us.
I believe The Church is a welcoming place, doesn’t discriminate, a place to ask for forgiveness from all your sins. The Church is trying to build a community of people coming together to worship God, in harmony and peace working together to structure the world the way that God intended.

God is always here for everyone. Even though you may have the worst day in the world, he is waiting for you to talk to him. Jesus is the physical form of God, sent down to prove the existence of the creator and spread God’s love. The holy spirit is a way to describe how God is always with us, even though we don’t see him. The church is made up of people who want to say thanks to God for all that he is. The church is also a community that wants to be welcoming and stop the destruction and cruelty aimed at God’s world and people. Everyone in the world has sinned. Sin is not permanent and is always forgiven because god loves us a ton. My faith is not permanent, and it will definitely change. It is a living faith that is different at every moment. Whenever anyone is feeling sad or angry, they can always go back to their faith.

I’ve always had a hard time trusting god. Growing up I felt like faith just wasn’t for me. I’ve been an extremely independent person my whole life, and with that, comes being self-reliant. I learned to count on myself and trust myself to get me where I needed to go and push through what I needed to do. In turn, I thought faith was for the people who just wanted to put the reins in someone else’s hands, people who were too lazy to control their own destiny. Recently I've learned that is NOT the case.
Though it took me a while to place my trust in God, I've learned over the last few months that having blind faith in our father is not a bad thing, but a grounding and steadying concept that ensures someone always has your back. I’ve let God into my life to guide me and pick me up when I fall, and I have embraced the feeling of not being so alone and having someone who will rejoice in my success and help me to learn from my failures. There is nothing I would love more than to continue my faith journey at our wonderful church. To surround myself with this loving community that will foster my growing relationship with the father, son, and holy spirit.
I believe in a god that has my back, and has everyone's back regardless of faith, sexuality, Christianity, or proximity. I believe in a God that meets you where you are and helps you get where you need to go.
