For almost a year now, our ministries have followed CDC guidelines and have not experienced community transmission of COVID-19 on campus. We feel that now is the time to begin opening the church building to in-person, indoor worship slowly and safely, on a limited capacity basis. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this difficult year. The safety of the staff and the congregation is of primary importance, so we look forward to your continued compliance and patience as we start the journey back to in-person worship.
Will I need to wear a face mask? Yes. All over the age of two must wear a face mask covering nose and mouth. Face shields are permitted, but not in place of a face mask. If a face shield is worn, it must be worn with a face mask, also.
I forgot to register for worship—may I show up anyway? Ushers will have a list of all registered individuals at the door, and only those individuals will be allowed inside the sanctuary.
How will I know what to do once I arrive at the church? Greeters and ushers will be onsite to assist with directions and answer questions. Signs will also be posted to help with parking, social distancing, etc.
Will there be assigned seating? Ushers will be available to help individuals find a place to sit if needed and to remind folks to social distance. Only groups of 10 will be seated together.
Will there be a worship bulletin? We will not be providing worship bulletins. All bibles, hymnals, and busy bags for children will be removed. Bulletins will be available online for download to your mobile device. You can read a digital bulletin on your phone.
Will the congregation be allowed to sing during worship? Out of an abundance of caution, the congregation will not be encouraged to participate in song.
Are any in-person Sunday school classes offered and at what times? At this time, there will be no in-person Sunday School classes. Please continue to attend online Sunday School classes.
Will childcare be available? As in every service, children of all ages are welcome. Due to social distancing requirements, childcare will not be available at this time.
Will coffee be provided? Out of an abundance of caution, we will not provide coffee or snacks. Also, please resist the temptation to gather in common areas. At the end of the service, please follow the path to return to your car. People are asked to limit personal items they bring with them and no food unless needed for a small child and kept in a diaper bag.
