We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate the new school year for our youth, children, and their families. Our friends at Northridge Presbyterian Church have opened up their outdoor space for us, so make sure to bring lawn chairs, something cool to drink and a mask. Lunch is provided. Youth in grades 6-12 are invited to come participate in discussion, and a deeper dive into scripture from 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings. Come and find out what it means to be in community as we learn and grow in our faith together. In the 2021-2022 school year, we will delve into the spiritual practices that empower and enrich us as disciples of Jesus Christ. All are welcome and all belong.
Sunday morning classes are offered for children ages 2 through 5th grade. For the Sundays in September 2021, we will meet in two groups outside for a Bible story and lesson, music and games. Age 2 through Kindergarten will meet in the Labyrinth. 1st through 5th grade will meet in the Chapel Garden.
A weekly Bible Study led by pastors and theologians. Topics are weekly and open to new people at any time. These Bible studies will be deep dives into Scripture with a focus on various contexts: historical, theological, social and literary. Attention will also be given to the question: Why does this matter?
Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend youth group, which at FPC Dallas is called PYC (Presbyterian Youth Connection), on Sunday afternoons from 12:15-1:30 pm on the 4th Floor. We strive to live as a Beloved Community together. Youth engage in service, theological conversations, Bible study, and listening to guests who share their stories. We participate in authentic discussions connecting current events to our faith and our call to work for healing justice; we also pray and play games together. All are welcome and all belong here. No week is the same at PYC!
A six-week class for adults who are new to this church or to Christianity, or adults who want to learn more about reformed faith and build a vocabulary of faith. Topics will include: Who is God, Who are We, God in Relationship. God who Saves, God of Action, and God of Belonging. Every class will include presentations and time for discussion and reflection. This will be a great place to build community and get to know others.
Adult Sunday Schools are medium-sized groups who meet weekly at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings to study the word and form connections together. When you connect with us, we can help you get plugged into the Adult Sunday School that fits what you're looking for.

All women of the church are invited to attend this retreat on growing deep and wide in our faith and relationships. Our keynote speaker will be Natarsha Sanders, and her scripture focus will be from Luke 13:19. This scripture takes us through the movement of growth and its benefits in one sentence: growth, rest, sacred, hope. Registration required. More information to come.
