The church as an organization—with buildings, budgets, and policies—exists to support and nurture vital relationships between real people. To say you love your church is to say that you love people. Table for Ten is our best effort to make a place for people to meet the church and for the church to meet people. We want to know you--that’s why we saved you a spot.
Why should I come to Table for Ten?
There is more to you than what the church has discovered so far.
You are curious. Meeting with up to nine strangers could be so awkward it’s entertaining. But then again, it might not be. The only way to know is to attend.
Based on your experience attending virtual worship, you are ready to join the church. Before you do it, you need to know what else happens the rest of the week and how else you can connect with the people.
If you’re new to FPC Dallas, or just checking us out, then we’ve saved a seat for you at our next Table for Ten to get to know us a little better. If you’ve been at FPC Dallas for awhile, then please let the guests you invite into our community know about this opportunity.
It happens every second Tuesday of the month from 7-8 pm. If you can’t come to this month’s event, let us know and we’ll email you when the next Zoom link is set.
There is no examination.
Because it seems like just the right number to get to know a little bit about each person in an hour on a Zoom screen, and we don’t have to click the arrow on the gallery view to see everyone’s face.
